Rescue Horses

By adopting one of our horses or ponies you will be helping us to carry on our work and at the same time can develop a special relationship with your chosen horse or pony.

Once you have adopted your pony or horse you will receive a Certificate of Adoption and picture of the horse or pony you wish to adopt plus a description of how they arrived in the care of the Little Bramley Farm Horse Sanctuary.

If you'd like the adoption certificate to arrive on a certain date or any other specific requirements (i.e. for a birthday surprise), please enter it in the "Special Requests" box during of the order process and we'll do our best to make it happen!

  • Calypso

Calypso came to us as a result of his owner unable to afford him any more. She does try to play a role in his welfare and as she had him from 6 months old, we welcome this input. Calypso is what we call a special needs pony.

He has issues with his whole persona and definitely needs special attention.

  • Elvis

Elvis came to us as he was bought as a childs riding pony but had only been driven he was going to be sent to the sales. It has taken a lot of time and patience spent on him as he was very wary of people especially men but he is now riding out confidently and been to his first show. Hopefully he has a good future ahead of him now.

  • Ellie and Daisy

Ellie and Daisy arrived with Ellie's mum Tinkerbell aka Pest several years ago - unfortunately Tinkerbell passed away at the ripe old age of 30 + Daisy n Ellie are 2 special Shetlands much loved by our visitors.

  • Katie

Katie is a super pony. She excels in jumping and has settled down in her new home.
