Rescue Horses
By adopting one of our horses or ponies you will be helping us to carry on our work and at the same time can develop a special relationship with your chosen horse or pony.
Once you have adopted your pony or horse you will receive a Certificate of Adoption and picture of the horse or pony you wish to adopt plus a description of how they arrived in the care of the Little Bramley Farm Horse Sanctuary.
If you'd like the adoption certificate to arrive on a certain date or any other specific requirements (i.e. for a birthday surprise), please enter it in the "Special Requests" box during of the order process and we'll do our best to make it happen!

Lakota
Lakota a most special little foal who is lucky to be alive - His mother Indie, another of the Yorkshire lasses was watching us as we were leaving - in a terrible state - wild, emaciated lice riddled but we couldn’t leave her. She gave birth to a beautiful colt foal Lakota & died soon after from worm damage, both would have died if we had left her.
-
Eden
Another one of our Yorkshire lasses is Eden - she came with foal at foot Alfie and in foal to Ruby Eden was as wild as they come. Worm ridden and very poorly, it has been a slow process but Eden is beginning to trust - Eden is challenging but every now and then the look in her eyes will soften and you just know she is longing to be part of you

Charlie
Charlie is a special character, his elderly owner had died and the husband was not a horsey person. Charlie was not handled but herded like cattle - our biggest challenge with him were trust and handling issues. Charlie is now a much loved pony, he loves to jump and is brilliant at gymkhanas

Jenny and Candy
Jenny and Candy came to us as their owner had died. The husband was not a horsey person and wanted them to go to a kind home. They came with their 15 month old offspring Charlie and Molly.
